If you have a short, short story

Please read our current work before submitting, and familiarize yourself with our form and content. Currently, Terrible Things is exclusively printing zines in the eightfold format. This translates to approximately 4oo-8oo words, or an approximate equivalent of words and images. We don't strictly limit ourselves to horror, but do keep in mind that we get dark.

If you'd like to pitch a serial of more than one volume, we're open to it, though we'd ask that the pieces all work as independent stories. 

If you have a novel, reportage, anything longer than 8oo words

We can't handle stuff like this right now. Lots of wonderful places do, though.

If it's just weird

The constraints of the physical printed world notwithstanding, we hate to limit ourselves. Connected batch of poems? Photographic essay? Comic? We might be open to that.
